JCI Poona was founded in the year 1958 by Rusi Poonawala. Times when India was newly independent , the city of Pune was experiencing the new winds of freedom and in the hearts of the people. While remaining deep"Reconstruction of New India is the responsibility of the youth"It was built by young people who shared the same ambition.
Since then, Junior Chamber International Poona , We have carried out various activities and movements under this philosophy.In addition, Junior Chamber International Poona is composed of members who volunteer for the basics of activity"Personal Training" " Leadership Development" "Friendship with the World"In India, we aim to promote mutual enlightenment and exchange among our members, cultivate a public entrepreneurial spirit, and work in cooperation with local communities to contribute to the development of leadership.
JCI is a worldwide community of young active citizens who are developing leaders for a changing world. JCI POONA is a local member organisation (LOM) affiliated to JCI India & JCI
